Credit Analyst Job Description

How will I help?
As part of the Portfolio Management Team, your razor-sharp credit analysis skills and strong industry insights will be put to use for both large private, and smaller public,panies. Working with Relationship Managers, you'll meet withpany executives and professional investors, and provide high-quality written credit submissions and input into loan structuring.
Most importantly, you'll get to:
1. Work collaboratively with analysts, product experts, relationship managers & credit managers to initiate and structure a range of banking transactions

3. Look into risk profiling, financial analysis and related credit submission activities to support uing deals
4. Monitor and manage risk across customer portfolios
5. Play a critical role in protecting Westpac Groups assets by applying sound credit management practices

What do I need?
You'll need to have some serious financial smarts and ideally, you'lle from an accounting background so you can apply those skills toplex lending structures, as well as credit and risk analysis. We'd love to hear from aspirational accounting professionals (CPA or CA certified) looking to transition into the Credit Analyst role within a Big 4 bank! You'll be a naturalmunicator, able to engage and build genuine relationships with our customers, team player and a decisive thinker. You will work collaboratively to achieve the best possible oues for our customers. Your drive to succeed will help you tackle even the most challenging tasks with an open mind and energy! You'll stand an even better chance of getting this role if you have:
6. A relevant tertiary qualification
7. A relevant professional accreditation including, CA, CPA or CFA accreditation.
8. Cash flow modelling skills
