The start and finish times will vary, which could be between 4.00am and 6:00pm. Our enthusiastic and caring staff of teachers, support personnel and education related professionals, support and guide our students to grow socially, emotionally and experience learning in a safe and fun environment.About The RoleResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:The role involves a variety of cleaning and maintenance duties aimed at ensuring a clean and safe school environment. Responsibilities include cleaning windows, doors, sinks, drinking fountains, lavatory basins, glassware, and cupboards, as well as sanitising toilet facilities and sick bays. It also includes maintaining equipment, controlling cobwebs and mildew using extendable tools, and cleaning various surfaces such as concrete, bitumen, asphalt, and paved areas. Other cleaning tasks include dusting furniture and equipment, sweeping, vacuuming, removing graffiti, and maintaining vinyl and timber floors, including buffing, stripping, and polishing.Security-related tasks include activating and deactivating school security systems, and locking or unlocking buildings as needed. The role also involves liaising with the Principal or Business Manager regarding the purchase and replacement of cleaning materials. Additionally, the person in this role will report security, safety, or damage concerns to the Principal, Business Manager, or Schools Officer (Facilities and/or Grounds) and refer members of the public to the relevant school personnel.Other duties include the disposal of rubbish and litter control, removal of materials from drains and gutters, and performing any other appropriate cleaning tasks as directed by the Principal or Business Manager.
