Apply today and join our dedicated team in Tamworth.Work Flexibility and Hours:While this position is 16 hours per week, there is potential to pick up extra shifts at Tamworth Community Health Service, Tamworth Hospital, and surrounding areas such as Walcha, Manilla, and Werris Creek!About the Role:This role will see you working within our Chronic and Complex Care team, providing hearing assessments to community clients referred by healthcare providers or through self-referral. You will primarily work with children, ensuring they receive timely and accurate hearing assessments. The service operates Monday to Friday, within standard business hours.Comprehensive support is available from our Clinical Nurse Consultant, Nurse Unit Manager, and broader team. You will have access to a yearly local audiometry workshop and scholarships to attend the Audiometry Nurses Association conference every second year. No treatment is involved; your role focuses on conducting assessments and forwarding results to referring medical officers such as GPs and ENT specialists.
