The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the effective and efficient operations of our Northern Territory houses.
Role Overview:
As an Operations Manager, you will provide management and leadership services that support people with disabilities, across their lifecycle and in all domains of life, to enable access to a quality life with dignity, respect, and social inclusion.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Working under the supervision of the Regional Manager, this role will have operational responsibility for the following key items:
2. Lead a team of frontline leaders, with accountability for high-quality service delivery, workplace culture, and decision-making within the area of responsibility.
3. Support continuous improvement, People & Culture, and organisational change initiatives.
4. Lead your teams to work within the organisation's Practice Framework including Active Support, Positive Behaviour Support, and the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework.
5. Ensure your team understands and complies with organisation policy and all relevant government legislation and standards, specifically including the NDIS Act.
6. Take responsibility for risk management across multiple teams, ensuring that any risks to clients, employees, and stakeholders are immediately reported to key personnel and managed effectively.
7. Ensure incidents and hazards are effectively managed and reported by adhering to policies and regulatory requirements.
8. Ensure serious incidents are reported within 24 hours under the NDIS Act.
9. Lead workforce planning and development activities relevant to your area of responsibility, including leading team resource allocation, talent acquisition, managing performance, training, and development.
10. Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective clients, family members, other service providers, and stakeholders to identify opportunities to meet client needs and goals, including resolving issues and managing complaints.
11. Contribute to business performance by ensuring services operate within agreed service models and defined business rules.
12. Contribute to the implementation of LSP’s Strategic Plan through service design and innovation, marketing activities, and ensuring exceptional Customer Experience for people joining services within your area of responsibility.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
1. Relevant industry qualification recognised by Lifestyle Solutions Possability and/or relevant industry experience.
2. Experience or demonstrated understanding of leading and supervising a team to achieve required strategic and operational outcomes.
Probity Requirements:
1. A current NDIS Worker Screening Check (must be maintained).
2. A current National Police Check (must be maintained).
3. A current unrestricted driver’s licence (must be maintained).
