PKF New England North West are currently seeking Intermediate and Senior Accountants to join our growing Business Advisory Services team in Tamworth NSW. The positions are being offered on a full-time basis. As part of our Business Advisory Services team, you will be principally responsible for assisting with the delivery of taxation, compliance and evolving business advisory services to our diverse client portfolio. Task & Responsibilities At PKF New England North West, the tasks and responsibilities for Intermediate and Senior Accountants include, but are not limited to: Financial Reporting and Analysis Preparing financial statements and reports for clients, ensuring adherence with Australian Accounting Standards where applicable. Conducting financial analysis to provide clients with meaningful insights that drive better decision-making. Taxation and Compliance Preparation and lodgement of income tax returns for clients, including individuals, partnerships, companies and trusts. Assisting clients with Federal and State based tax compliance administration matters, including Goods and Services Tax (GST) and Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT). Assist with providing tax planning and advice to clients in relation to purchase and sale transactions, entity structuring, and general operations. Advisory Services Assist with the provision of tailored business advisory services, including working with clients on strategy, risk management, business performance improvements, and growth opportunities. Client and Team Engagement Support partners and client managers with the delivery of accurate and timely services to clients. Liaise with clients and stakeholders through both verbal and written communication methods. Evolve and maintain strong relationships with clients, understand their needs, and provide valued services. Support junior team members, providing guidance and training as required. Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies in client service delivery and assist with implementation. Professional Development Continuous development of relevant technical and interpersonal skills through participating in ongoing PKF endorsed professional education. Remaining up to date with industry trends and advancements, legislative changes, and professional standards to ensure that PKF's services are aligned with the latest best practices. Qualification & Experience Ideally at least 2 years' experience within a public practice accounting environment. Degree and CA / CPA qualified (or studying). Sound technical knowledge and ability to practically apply this knowledge. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail. Superb client interactions skills, including both verbal and written. High level of integrity and a team player. Tech savvy with a working knowledge of the Microsoft suite and different accounting software packages (Xero preferred).
