Role
Our school is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Guitar Instructor to join our Music Faculty. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing high-quality guitar lessons to small groups and individual students in years 7-12. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music, excellent communication skills, and a passion for music.
Responsibilities
1. Provide guitar lessons to small groups and individual students of all ages and skill levels.
2. Develop individualised lesson plans based on each student's ability, interest and goals.
3. Monitor and report student progress and adjust learning strategies as necessary.
4. Prepare students for performances, exams, and competitions.
5. Collaborate with the music teachers to plan and carry out performances, recitals, and other events.
6. Contribute to the development and organisation of ensembles within the school.
