UCSSC Lake Ginninderra is a Senior Secondary College situated centrally in Belconnen. The college site includes the Academy of Future Skills, Belconnen Training (RTO), the Academic Excellence Program and Sporting Centres of Excellence. The school is a diverse community of learners with approximately 800 students. The College seeks an educational leader who will strategically support the School Strategic Plan and advance ongoing student-centred improvement in the key domains of leading, learning, and wellbeing. This position will strengthen the alignment of curriculum with quality assessment practices that are responsive to student need. Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with multiple stakeholders and the wider community Demonstrate knowledge and experience with planning, resource management, and compliance with BSSS and ESO procedures and policies Undertake an appropriate teaching load and other duties as determined by the Principal. A minimum of 4 years full time (or equivalent) tertiary study leading to the award of a recognised school teaching qualification. Current professional teaching registration with the ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) or eligibility to obtain TQI.
