An excellent opportunity to lead strategic regional initiatives and drive government priorities that improve communities across NSW. As our Associate Director, Regional Coordination, you will work closely with senior executives, government agencies, regional leaders and local councils to coordinate multi-agency efforts, provide high-level strategic advice, and ensure policy decisions translate into real outcomes. This role provides the opportunity to influence state-wide service delivery reforms, support ministerial visits, manage key regional projects, and facilitate collaboration to address critical social and economic challenges in regional NSW. Expertise in coordinating multi-agency, multi-stakeholder initiatives and driving service delivery reforms that address regional economic and social challenges Strong experience in providing high-level strategic advice to executives and ministers, ensuring informed decision-making on regional policy and programs Holds a current driver’s licence and possesses a deep understanding of government structures, agency functions, and ministerial processes Demonstrated experience in leading teams, managing complex projects, analysing policy proposals, and delivering high-quality briefings, submissions, and reports Possesses a high level of knowledge of regional issues and priorities Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with senior government leaders, councils, and non-government and private sector stakeholders to align efforts and drive impactful outcomes.
