This Federal Government department supports and regulates what is considered a critical industry for everyday Australians.Due to ongoing technology uplifts, there is an exciting opportunity for a Digital Content Developer to join the team for an initial 6-months with a 12 month extension option attached.The primary function of the Digital Content Developer is to assist in the ongoing development and maintenance of a SharePoint-based formal document management system covering all operational and corporate functions.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, design and deliver content for the department's document management system, improving and enhancing content design in accordance with established digital service standards and contemporary best practices to optimise communication outcomes.Manage content publication including content/information change requests, adding, amending or archiving content in line with publishing standards.Produce quality outcomes while managing competing work priorities.Display sound judgement in challenging environments.Able to work with geographically dispersed teams.Ensure digital content and assets meet usability and accessibility standards.Produce training tools to support commission officers in the use of the digital tools.Use data to inform and drive continuous improvements to the document management system and related digital content.Ensure digital content services that meet and enhance the user experience.Demonstrate commitment to the department's values.Key ExperienceProven experience in effective digital content design, including writing in plain English, compliance with accessibility standards and adhering to an organisational style guide.Proven experience working with content management systems (SharePoint highly regarded).Ability to innovate and solve problems, including the ability to leverage opportunities.Ability to use judgement to identify risks and potential solutions.Attention to detail and finalisation of allocated tasks in a timely fashion.Strong Microsoft 365 experience, including MS Project and MS Visio.Familiarity with systems development and project management tools (Azure Dev Ops highly regarded).Proven self-management skills including the ability to organise work activities, manage multiple project work streams concurrently and complete tasks within timeframes.Highly developed communication skills including the ability to understand the audience and tailor communication style and message accordingly.What’s on Offer:Contract until 30 June 2025 + a 12 month extension optionIconic industry supported by a notable Federal Government departmentFlexible working arrangements availableOpportunity to obtain an Australian Government Security ClearanceCandidates who currently have Baseline Clearance Security Clearances are highly desirable.Due to the nature of this role, this job is open to Australian Citizens only.Calleo is an equal opportunity employer and we encourage applications from all people including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.Follow Calleo on LinkedIn and visit our website to keep up to date on all our current job vacancies:www.linkedin.com/company/calleoresourcingwww.calleo.com.au
