Position Overview:
As the Care Director, you will oversee the delivery of person-centered care, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to maintain a positive environment for both staff and residents. This is a key leadership role that requires a strategic mindset, a deep understanding of aged care, and a compassionate approach to care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage the clinical care team to deliver high-quality aged care services.
2. Ensure compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and all relevant regulations.
3. Provide mentorship and support to nursing and care staff, fostering professional development.
4. Oversee care planning and assessments to ensure individualized care for residents.
5. Work collaboratively with families, residents, and stakeholders to enhance the resident experience.
6. Monitor and maintain the clinical governance framework, ensuring best practices are followed.
7. Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure sustainable operations.
8. Promote a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
Requirements:
9. Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
10. Australian working rights
11. Extensive experience in aged care, including previous leadership roles.
12. Strong understanding of aged care regulations and quality standards.
13. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
14. Ability to manage staff, budgets, and resources efficiently.
