Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager - Chemotherapy (Nurse Consultant Cancer Care)
As the Nurse Midwife Unit Manager in Chemotherapy, you will utilize your clinical expertise to coordinate patient/client care delivery within a Health Unit or Community Service.
Your primary focus will be on line management, coordination, and leadership of nursing/midwifery and multidisciplinary team activities, ensuring continuity and high-quality patient care and outcomes.
About the Role
* You will be accountable for nursing/midwifery practices and multidisciplinary results, addressing any inconsistencies between practice and policy.
* You will also play a key role in developing team performance and fostering a positive work culture, all in the interest of enhancing patient/client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Coordinate patient/client care delivery within a Health Unit or Community Service
2. Line manage, coordinate, and lead nursing/midwifery and multidisciplinary team activities
3. Ensure continuity and high-quality patient care and outcomes
Requirements
* Must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
* Holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate
* Registered Nurse and/or Midwife with at least 3 years post registration experience
