A career opportunity has arisen for a HSEQ Advisor to be a part of our national HSEQ team located in Victoria. The role is responsible for supporting our business across eastern Victoria from Melbourne to Wangaratta/Albury to Sale/Bairnsdale. You will be working with and supporting our Operations Electrical Distribution contracts. This role operates with high autonomy partnering closely with Managers to embed positive safety behaviours and build HSEQ awareness and capability with field crews. You will coordinate and assist to manage work-cover claims, undertake incident reporting, risk assessments, site visits/audits, and will interact with clients HSEQ teams
The successful candidate will receive formal training, including a Diploma in WHS, Return to Work Coordinator training, and Word and Excel courses, as well as on-the-job training to ensure a smooth transition into the role. Experience and Qualifications:
14. Experience in health & safety role
15. Cert IV in WHS.
16. Experience in vegetation management, utilities services sector or similar is an advantage
17. Auditing in Health, Safety, Quality & Environment is an advantage
