Job DescriptionDetailed knowledge of programming and commissioning of PLC, HMI and SCADA systemsExperience of testing and fault finding to component levelDetailed knowledge of programming ladder logic from concept and also reverse engineering from existing programmesProficiency in producing code which is backed up with clear notes and documentationKnowledge of generator control including synchronising and AVRsKnow the sequence of jobs (on site and in the office) and pre-empt the need for information/client inputQualifications and SkillsA formal engineering qualification (Bachelor’s Degree, Masters) – likely to be Electrical and possibly control based4+ years’ experience with a contractor or Engineering consultancySite experience including testing and commissioningStrong troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills.Able to work under pressure and self-manage priorities against multiple tasks in remote areas.High proficiency in M365 and SharePointFull driving licence with site road experienceExcellent client-facing and communication skills.Other RequirementsThe post may be required to undertake some shift work (early or late)Travel and staying away overnightWeekend work may be required occasionallyPaid overtime, where appropriateJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: £35,000.00-£47,000.00 per yearBenefits:FlexitimeWork Location: In person
