General Manager Acute and Bed Based Mental Health
Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) is seeking a passionate leader who is committed to providing excellence in Acute and Mental Health Care, with the aim of improving outcomes for community members utilising our inpatient mental health services.
In this key leadership role, you’ll provide strategic & operational leadership and management of the Acute and Bed Based Program at LRH which includes;
1. Psychiatric Emergency Care Team (PECT)
2. Flynn Adult Inpatient Unit,
3. Macalister Aged Care Unit,
4. Electroconvulsive Therapy,
5. Prevention and Recovery Care Service (PARCS),
6. Community Residential Care Unit (CRCU),
7. Agnes Parent and Infant Unit,
8. Secure Extended Care Unit (SECU)
9. Mental Health and AOD Hub and Youth PARCS Units

Our ideal candidate will:
15. Have significant experience in the provision of Acute and Bed-Based services
16. Have a thorough understanding of best clinical practice and future trends in healthcare delivery and demographics
17. Demonstrate knowledge of contemporary mental healthcare provision and systems, with a working knowledge of the Victorian Public Health Care system, health service operations, funding models and resource allocation
18. Have a broad-based knowledge of Legislation, Regulations and statutory obligations pertaining to the delivery of acute mental healthcare services
