Job Description
The Motor Technical Assessor Quality, Standards and Events is responsible for auditing and recording the quality and accuracy of work done by Motor Assessors and Motor Body Repairers.
Main Responsibilities
* Audit assessments to ensure adherence to assessing processes and practices while balancing customer satisfaction and business needs.
* Review post-authorisation assessments and repaired motor vehicles to ensure cost-effective repairs considering quality, cost, and timeliness outcomes.
* Determine appropriate cost and repair method in accordance with the A&G Assessing methodology during Catastrophic Events.
* Accurately assess vehicle damage to determine cost-effective and safe repairs using correct methods.
* Undertake vehicle assessments in line with underwriting terms & conditions & claims protocols.
* Write accurate assessment reports, negotiating correct scope & costs for vehicle repairs via Partner or Customer's own repairers.
About You
* Experience and current knowledge of the motor body repair industry.
* Trade qualified in Panel Beating or Spray painting.
* Broad knowledge of Insurance policies, claims, and assessing procedures.
* Able to travel intra and interstate to assist customers for major Catastrophic events when required.
* Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
* Sound level of computer literacy.
* Valid Driver's license.
