What You’ll Be Doing
As an Associate Director at Atwell in Land Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing right-of-way projects. Your responsibilities will focus on driving business development, ensuring successful project outcomes, and cultivating a culture of high performance within your team.
Business Development
* Develop and implement an annual revenue goal and action plan aligned with the company’s growth objectives .
* Collaborate with leadership to establish clear business objectives that support overall growth.
* Meet regularly with clients and vendors to discuss project progress, address concerns, resolve conflicts, and uncover additional business opportunities.
* Proactively identify and solicit new clients and projects, driving the business’s growth.
Project Execution
* Manage and lead teams, including project managers and land agents, ensuring the effective execution of projects, meeting timelines, and maintaining high-quality standards.
* Oversee financial performance, including budget management, schedule control, and approval of expenditures.
* Analyze project variances, including scope creep, and negotiate contract and scope changes when necessary.
* Ensure that invoicing and payment collection adhere to contract terms and timelines.
* Initiate corrective actions to ensure project objectives are met and provide regular progress reports to management.
* Provide mentorship and guidance to project managers and land agents, fostering teamwork and professional growth.
Qualifications:
* 8+ years of experience in land acquisition, project management, and business development .
* Proven ability to develop and manage client relationships, lead teams, and successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Experience managing teams, including project managers and land agents, to deliver successful outcomes.
* Strong understanding of land rights acquisition, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance processes.
* Willingness and ability to travel as required for client meetings and project site visits.
