About the Role: As a WHS Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring a safe work environment across the company's operations. Reporting to the WHS Manager, you will develop and implement WHS management systems, oversee contractor safety, conduct audits, and drive safety performance in line with company values. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement site health and safety management plans, procedures, and standards. Monitor WHS policies and ensure compliance. Support the Permit to Work (PTW) process. Develop Safe Systems of Work aligned with legislative requirements and industry best practices. Conduct emergency planning and response activities. Audit contractor health and safety management systems. Conduct WHS inspections, audits, and incident investigations. Act as the subject matter expert for solar and battery operations. Identify WHS training needs and support workforce development. Ensure adherence to WHS regulations and internal policies. Contribute to risk assessments and control improvements. To Be Successful: Minimum 3 years in an operational WHS role. Diploma of Work Health and Safety (BSB51319) OR Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (BSB41419) with enrolment in Diploma. Valid Driver’s Licences Electrical Trade Certificate. Certificate IV in Environmental Management and Sustainability. Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. First Aid Certificate. Strong understanding of WHS legislation. Experience in a WHS role within the electricity operations industry Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
