Estimating Manager
Location: Ipswich
Salary: £50K Basic salary plus bonus, 8% pension, Bupa healthcare, employee assistance programme, 25 days holiday with holiday purchase option

Office based initially whilst reviewing the current processes then this position can be worked Hybrid.

This is a key leadership role, and you will be instrumental in shaping the business's future by refining processes, mentoring the estimating team, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the estimating department, overseeing the preparation of accurate and timely cost estimates for all manufacturing projects.
* Streamline and optimize the estimating processes to improve efficiency and reduce turnaround times.
* Collaborate with senior management, project managers, and production teams to ensure accurate alignment of estimates with project specifications and timelines.
* Analyse historical data and market trends to improve the accuracy and competitiveness of estimates.
* Implement and refine estimating software and systems to maximize team efficiency and data accuracy.
* Provide mentorship, guidance, and leadership to the estimating team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
* Monitor industry trends to ensure the company remains competitive in pricing and process efficiencies.
* Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Manager or similar leadership position in the manufacturing or construction industry.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
