About Pay Rates
Casual pay rates under the Fast Food Industry Award increase each year on your birthday until you're 21 years old. Here's a snapshot of hourly rates for different age groups:
1. 16yo: $16.04/hr (Monday-Friday), $19.25/hr (weekends)
2. 17yo: $19.24/hr (Monday-Friday), $23.09/hr (weekends)
3. 18yo: $22.45/hr (Monday-Friday), $26.94/hr (weekends)
4. 19yo: $25.65/hr (Monday-Friday), $30.78/hr (weekends)
