The Department is the central construction agency for the NTG and aims to drive the sustainable, economic and social advancement of the Territory through:

As the Executive Officer to the General Manager of Regions, you will provide high-level executive support, strategic advice, business administration, and project management services to the General Manager, who oversees the agency’s services delivered in regional locations across the Territory – with offices based in Katherine, Nhulunbuy, Tennant Creek, and Alice Springs. Working collaboratively with the Region’s leadership team, you will contribute towards improving the quality and effectiveness of the administrative services, preparing complex briefs and high-level correspondence, and delivering outstanding secretariat services for Steering Committees, including the preparation of agendas, meeting minutes, and briefing papers.
This key role within the Southern Region Executive team will draw upon your highly developed oral, written, and collaborative skills, and comprehensive knowledge of and experience in contemporary best practice business management, project management, and performance monitoring and reporting. In addition, you will provide leadership and support to the other office administrative staff and may undertake research and projects as directed by the General Manager.
Working alongside a supportive and inspiring team, you will be rewarded with a competitive remuneration package consisting of 11.5% superannuation, six weeks recreational and three weeks personal leave, up to 17.5% annual leave loading, 3 day paid shutdown over Christmas, and the opportunity to further develop your career in the Northern Territory Public Sector. Flexible work agreements may be negotiated in line with operational requirements.
