Picnic Real Food Bar is a busy and successful contemporary eatery at North Stores, located in the heart of Tamborine Mountain.
We feature fresh local produce, focusing on creating seasonal menus offering a range of nourishing meals, including vegan and gluten-free options.
All food is made from scratch.
We prepare and cook all our jams, condiments, relishes, pastries, pies, and cakes.
Our beverage offerings include micro-roastery coffee, organic tea, cold-pressed juices, local beers on tap, and Australian natural wines.
THE ROLE We seek a value-aligned PASTRY CHEF/KITCHEN MANAGER to join our small team, who is committed to the position with the following attributes:
Excellent leadership with clear communicationPassion for creating nourishing foodUpholding business standards and team cultureExpertise in managing day-to-day operations and serviceKitchen management, ordering, stock control, budgeting, and general administrationManagement of small kitchen teamFood safety supervisor certificateValues health and wellbeingAvailability Wednesday to Sunday 7-3pm, and flexibility for occasional dinner servicePicnic trading hours are Wednesday to Sunday 8am–3pm, offering breakfast and lunch, pop-up dinner, BBQs, and catering.
