The Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to lead and coordinate the activities relating to the PTA’s Accounts Payable functions including vendor management, timely payment of invoices, experience with ERP systems, PTAs Financial Delegation and Purchasing Card functions.
You will be responsible for,
1. Ensuring compliance of business processes and practices within the relevant legislation and standards.
2. Identifying, analysing and implementing business and system improvements.
3. Motivating staff to provide a collaborative, efficient working environment.
To be considered for this position you will have:
4. Considerable Accounts Payable experience, including the ability to gain proficiency in governance rules, regulations and system processes.
5. Demonstrated management and leadership skills with the ability to mentor, coach and develop team members.
6. Well-developed planning and organisational skills, with a proven ability to deliver outcomes within timeframes.
This is an initial three year fixed term opportunity with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.
Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool for 12 months from which permanent and fixed term appointments will be made.
