Unique Minds Consultancy is a child and family-focused business that offers services to clients with multiple and complex needs in the child and family sector. Unique Minds has been operational for 15 years; in recent years has grown to offer streams of service that meet the changing needs in therapeutic assessments, child developmental play services, intensive in-home therapeutic services, and therapeutic options for families to meet mental health challenges. We have a clinic in Dalby, Toowoomba, and an established outreach service in the South Burnett region.This position is based in the South Burnett. Applicants are required to have a formal qualification in social work, human services, counselling, mental health, psychology, education, or equivalent. Qualifications and prior experience in therapeutic child play or in working with families involved in complex child protection matters and with an understanding of childhood trauma is desirable.The successful applicant will be required to engage with a caseload of clients with disabilities, neurodivergence, and often with comorbidity of disorders and/or conditions.
