About the role
We're seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Full-Stack) to mentor a high-performing development team within Insurance Technology. Your role involves building API and microservice capabilities to enhance our Digital Insurance self-service features. You will actively contribute to the Agile software development lifecycle and be well-versed in DevOps/Continuous Integration and production deployment processes. This role epasses systems analysis, design, development, maintenance, and ongoing support as well as coaching and mentoring junior Engineers.
What you'll do
4. Lead the design, development, and implementation of guidelines and frameworks for quality, automation, and security in Continuous Delivery and Integration pipelines
5. Provide technical leadership in automation, Continuous Delivery and Integration, configuration management, and monitoring practices across the portfolio
6. Guide and support delivery teams to implement best practices for high availability, disaster recovery, and securitypliance
7. Analyse system requirements and develop technical design
8. Develop and maintain digital applications
9. Perform unit and integration testing, including thorough unit and system test plans
What you'll bring
10. 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years mentoring teams
11. Experience with high availability production systems
12. Deep knowledge of Java, JavaScript, and ReactJS
13. Skilled in API frameworks like Spring Boot
14. Experienced with web frameworks such as Spring, JSP, React, Redux, and Rematch
15. Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) is well regarded
