These reports will determine the training requirements for clinicians across MDHS.Maintain models of best practice in training and adult education; trainee terms and placements, workforce, education and training program development as required in order to improve delivery of training programs.Develop a strategic and work plan to support learning and continuing professional development of these staff.Provide advice on the strategic use of Allied Health continuing professional development resources.Contribute to Allied Health workforce sustainability by building capacity to provide high quality undergraduate education, new graduate programs, and continuing professional development across the district.Facilitate access to clinical placement supervision and allied health clinical supervision training.Support Allied Health Professional supervisors to supervise students on clinical placements.Support Allied Health Professionals to extend their practice when working with AHAs.Develop and sustain collaborative working partnerships with teaching & training and research organisations.Evaluate learning and development programs and report on key performance areas.Key ChallengesEnsuring allied health professional's education needs are assessed, prioritised and appropriate programs delivered for the diverse range of allied health disciplines across all sites, in an environment of constant change.Ensuring an evidence-based perspective.Operating in a clinical environment with multiple competing demands regarding training requirements and priorities.Applications are to include:ResumeCovering Letter addressing the Key Selection Criteria, available in the Position Description on the position advertisement.MDHS is an equal opportunity employer.
