About Smiles Zetland is seeking a highly organised and proactive Practice Coordinator to join the team on a Part Time basis 4 days per week including 2 Saturdays a month.
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients and visitors, ensuring a positive experience and smooth operation of our front office. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring a positive experience for both patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
* Patient Care: Assist with patient management, including greeting patients, preparing them for procedures, and ensuring their comfort.
* Operational Excellence: Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the practice, including adherence to health regulations and industry standards.
* Team Leadership: Supervise staffing needs, including interviewing, training, and scheduling, to optimise team performance and meet patient needs.
* Patient Relations: Address patient inquiries and concerns, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and addressing any issues promptly.
* Scheduling & Ordering: Complete ordering while maintaining optimal inventory levels. Create and maintain employee rosters, ensuring coverage for all shifts.
* Front Office Administration: Manage office supplies, coordinate office functions, and assist with day-to-day administrative tasks.
* Coordination with Clinical Team: Work closely with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure that patient care is delivered efficiently and timely. Assisting the Dentist at ad hoc times.
* Compliance: Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols, as well as regulatory requirements in the dental practice.

What do you need to succeed?
* Experience as a Practice Coordinator - you may have Cert III or IV in Dental Assisting, but most importantly be capable of working closely with a team and a willingness to continue to learn.
* A bright, engaging personality, with enthusiasm and commitment.
* A team player. You will help us deliver the best patient care whilst working with our talented dentists delivering quality dental solutions and fantastic value.
* Ability to multitask, prioritise tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
