Who are you? You will be someone who thrives on community engagement and loves being in the thick of all things to do with the business community and the startup ecosystem. You will display a visible enthusiasm for: Being the go-to person for any questions in your current roleEnjoy travelling for work and attending conferences to represent your business andKeeping facilities in your work area spic and span and in excellent condition for any visitors or staff to enjoyBeing able to see connections between people before they can and doing everything in your power to ensure those connections happenOrganising and running events from start to finish no matter how small or large the eventBeing in the spotlight, being that familiar face at events and meetings both internally and externally and being known for talking up and sharing your opinionsCreating innovative and new way of marketing products and services across multiple platforms What will you be doing? If you are our next Community Manager your days will be spent: Being the go-to person for all enquiries for the Generator from prospective clients, stakeholders and existing membersImplement the Bundaberg Regional Enablers Program for the next three years, including event management, leading delegations and promoting agtech in the region.Signing up new members and ensuring their onboarding process is seamlessEnsuring the facilities at the Generator are kept in excellent condition so our members and guests have an enjoyable experience each and every visitMaking connections between local members, entrepreneurs and start-up businesses to facilitate growth of local programs, businesses and eventsOrganising and facilitating events for a broad range of stakeholders, including existing members and startupsBeing the face and voice of the Generator in the advancement of Bundaberg's startup ecosystemThriving on the challenge of implementing innovative strategies for additional revenue streams for the Generator The position is funded for 4 days per week, with set hours to be determined with the successful candidate with options for 3 days or full time also available.
