Job Title: Technical Specialist
Kickstart 2025 with an Exciting Career Opportunity as a Technical Specialist at QBE.
We are looking to grow our workers compensation team in Lismore and seeking a technically skilled insurance professional with a strong background in workers' compensation.
The opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of claims, ranging from new claims through to long tail claims, and provide coaching, training and advice to Case Managers on legislative, legal and technical claim strategies.
As a Technical Specialist you will report directly to the Service Manager and contribute to the success and growth of the team while making a lasting impact in the workers' compensation sector.
About the Role:
* Experience in workers' compensation or a related insurance field, with a strong technical understanding of claims management and processes.
* Problem-solving skills: Ability to assess complex situations and provide clear, actionable guidance to Case Managers.
* Attention to detail: Ensure accuracy in claims management, reporting, and compliance.
* Strong communication skills: Ability to explain technical concepts to both internal teams and external stakeholders in a clear and understandable way.
