Job Description If you are looking to work in a busy environment, you will NOT be disappointed!If you're a people person, animal lover and have a passion for providing a positive experience, THIS is the place to work!Greencross South Tamworth are looking for a vet nurse with a bright positive personality, an active approach to problem solving, an eye for detail, and strong and empathetic communication skills.Full-time hours (38 per week) can be over 4 or 5 days, or Part-time hours can be discussed to suit yourself and fitting in with the team.Clinic hours are 8am - 6pm and staff work shifts within these hours.Predominantly domestic cats and dogs, this clinic is small animal only with a wide range of cases due to its long history of seeing referral patients from across northern NSW.You can even expect a mix of ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs, and birds; there will be the odd kangaroo and tortoise coming through the door as well!We have a great team of incredibly dedicated staff both veterinary and nursing with a strong emphasis on continuing training covering all aspects of our business.Our Vet team each have varied and complementary interests including orthopedics, ophthalmology, dentistry and medicine.We see an extensive variety of orthopedic and medical cases and we are fortunate Greencross has been very supportive, giving us some wonderful toys and gadgets that enable us to offer our patients the services otherwise only offered in the major cities!We are big on regular staff get-togethers and ensuring there's always yummy treats on hand.We are also very serious about "crazy scrubs day" every Monday!Many of our staff have over 15 years of service, our lovely and outgoing Head Receptionist has been with the clinic for 30 years, and our Practice Manager - 46 years!They can't see themselves anywhere else - and we hope you will feel the same!We would love to meet you, Apply Now and join the South Tamworth team today! #J-18808-Ljbffr
