Job Description
Due to a strong pipeline of projects, we are seeking an Electrical Design Draftsperson to join our dynamic engineering team for the implementation of projects within the EPC business unit. Reporting to the Principal Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for:
* Preparing design plans, drawings, layouts, material lists, job files, and documentation associated with projects, tenders or technical support.
* Preparing detailed engineering drawings for electrical systems, single lines, control schematics, cable schedules, block diagrams, system architecture and termination diagrams.
* Liaising with clients, suppliers, and contractors at the design stage.
Key Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* Demonstrated industry experience with sound knowledge of industrial turnkey projects.
* AutoCAD (essential) and ePlan P8 (desirable) skills.
* Report writing skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Initiative and problem-solving ability.
* Computer literate: Microsoft Suite.
* SA Drivers License.
