Permanent Engagement(Contracts will be considered)Must be in CanberraMust have a NV1 security clearanceCandidate must be an Australian citizenThe RoleDefence has commenced work on one of the most complex and challenging programs in ADF history, one that seeks to transform the ADF into a fully networked, fifth-generation force better able to protect its airspace and vital assets from increasingly complex and lethal air and missile threats.Primary ResponsibilitiesSuccessful candidates will be required to:Work closely with the ADSB Capability Manager (AFHQ) to support development of Minimum Viable Capability (MVC) scope definitions and associated scoping documents.Oversee development of MVC-informed engineering artefacts (Functional Performance Specifications, Test and Evaluation Management Plans, Statements of Work, etc).Provide engineering support to Department and Government submission development.Facilitate and manage Industry and Government engagements in the development and execution of FADS work packages.Mentor and develop FADS engineering staff.Oversee development and approval of engineering artefacts.Essential CriteriaThe preferred candidate would preferably have experience with one or more of the following technical disciplines:Air Battle Management.Integrated Fire Control (IFC).Communication networks (Tactical Datalinks, RF and networked communications pathways).Sensors.Missile Defence Networks.Associated Combat Management Systems Security.Command and Control applications.Minimum current NV1 AGSVA Clearance with ability to upgrade.Must be able to work from ACT.Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field.Experience working with FMS cases.Experience in successfully working through the pre-gate 2 activities.Minimum 8 years experience leading or managing an Engineering Team (at least twice).How to apply:Please hit the apply button or for more information contact Anne from Randstad Digital on 02 6243 6404.#J-18808-Ljbffr
