In addition, the business offers the ability to source powder coating, zinc plating, sand blasting, rubber/urethane products and coatings and more.About the Role:To enable the General Manager to focus on business improvement and growth initiatives, the role of Operations Manager has been created. A key member of the leadership team, you will work closely with the Managing Director and General Manager to align operational strategies with the company's growth goals.Your new role will see you lead the Production, Estimating and Administration functions and:Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of service delivery.Lead, mentor, and develop your team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.Ensure that policies and procedures are followed in accordance with the QA System.Monitor and manage DIFOT metrics to maximise production efficiency and ensure timely delivery of products.Implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives, training and upskilling staff and thereby enhancing productivity.Monitor KPIs to ensure high standards of quality, safety and service.Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations, as well as company policies.About You:You are a leader with deep experience in metal manufacturing, fabrication and/or laser cutting environments, who brings to the table:A history of delivering operational improvement through your people, leading individuals and teams to higher levels of performance.Experience in successfully implementing continuous improvement methodologies.An ability to harness technology platforms, including ERP systems, to improve operational efficiency.Strong knowledge of Australian labour laws, WHS, and Fair Work employment regulations.A practical, proactive approach to addressing operational challenges.At a personal level, you are seeking the opportunity to build a career for the longer term by making a positive impact on the performance of the business you lead, and the people you work with.#J-18808-Ljbffr
