Job DescriptionAbout this opportunity The primary purpose is to plan and execute the mechanical and electrical maintenance function at Pact Synergy Tullamarine, whilst providing support to other departments i.e.
projects, production, warehouse.
The role is also responsible for ensuring the maintenance function is delivering best outcomes with accurate and timely response to operations.
The role also incumbencies the function as the site electrical lead.
Your key responsibilities will be to: Safety and Quality Engage in relevant WHS campaigns that actively drive a culture of behavioural safety and preventative safety measures and activities.Assist the business in its corporate and social responsibility of providing a safe work environment by active participation in safety programs and communicating progress on achievements.Maintain quality standards and controls to manufacture and produce packaging solutions that meet customer expectations and requirements.Ensure that work is carried out in a safe working manner (Take5 & LOTO) and maintaining safe working environments.Immediately report instances of near misses or incidents.Issuing and amending SOPs.Reliability Coordinate and balance the workload, assign scheduled tasks and mechanical breakdown tasks for Site Trades and Contractors.Manage and maintain maintenance schedules for mechanical and electrical works at the Tullamarine site.Manage the maintenance planning, raise and issue Works Orders from Requests.Lead and or participate in Continuous Improvement Projects to achieve improved Safety, Productivity, Quality & Reliability.Develop and maintain spare parts inventory.Highly developed safety awareness and ability to drive a safety culture.Strong analytical aptitude, an ability to improve planning processes and analytical ability to fault find and diagnose problems.Lead effectively in a team environment to drive performance.Decision Making Problem solving with a cost-effective solution that maximises production uptime.Prioritising safety above all else.Your skills and experience To be successful in this role, you'll have:
