Your new role
This is a great opportunity to expand your career in an Executive Assistant Position within the APS, your duties will be inclusive of, but not limited to the following;
* Provide high-level administrative support to senior executives
* Manage complex calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements
* Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations
* Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the executive team
* Organise and coordinate events and meetings, ensuring all logistics are handled efficiently
* Assist with special projects and initiatives as required
What you'll need to succeed
We are seeking skilled Executive Assistants who have proven experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar role within the APS, other requirements are as follows;
* Exceptional organisational and time-management skills
* Strong written and verbal communication abilities
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* High level of discretion and confidentiality
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
You must be an Australian citizen to be considered for this role and candidates looking to apply must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Government Security Clearance (Baseline, NV1, NV2 or TSPV)
Candidates who are permanently engaged within the APS and are seeking a Section 26 transfer are also encouraged to apply
