Job Description
* Developing and executing test plans that assess the functionality and performance of new and existing software applications and services.
* Working closely with various teams to understand business requirements and develop appropriate testing strategies.
* Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects discovered during testing.
* Collaborating with developers to resolve issues and ensure software quality.
* Assisting in the creation of user documentation and training materials.
* Participating in the review of software design, change specifications, and plan against contractual and/or process requirements.
* Providing feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality.
* Supporting the continuous improvement of the testing process.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Test Analyst should have:
* A solid understanding of software development life cycle models and agile testing methodologies.
* Proficiency in technical writing including comprehensive test plans and test cases.
* Strong analytical skills to identify test requirements and potential improvements.
* Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
* A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
