About us:
Obtaining a license to drive can be a difficult process and is often out of reach for many young people. Because of this, WA PCYC has established our Drive to the Future (DTTF) Program to ensure that more young drivers are safe and qualified to drive and aims to improve overall community safety and the empowerment of young people.
Our Collie team is looking for a dedicated individual who is passionate about change and can lead our DTTF program and continue to make a difference in the lives of young people.

About the role:
The Youth Program Coordinator will be leading the development, delivery and evaluation of our DTTF program. Responsibilities include:
* Facilitating and planning the effective delivery of programs, activities and workshops relevant young people in line with contractual obligations
* Coordinating the evaluation of programs relevant to young people utilising appropriate evaluation tools
* Developing safe and effective workplace culture and providing leadership and direction to youth services staff and volunteers
* Representing PCYC within the local community and developing stakeholder relationships
* The overall delivery and performance of DTTF including governance, risk management, financial management and compliance

About you:
* A qualification in Youth/Community work (Diploma or above is highly desirable) or related area such as social work, psychology, behavioural science and/or equivalent experience.
* Possess an Australian Driver’s License for at least 4 years.
* Demonstrated experience in developing, delivering and evaluating youth programs with young people from diverse backgrounds.
* Previous experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander young people and have a good understanding of the issues facing First Nations people
* Passionate about re-engaging young people through building positive professional relationships and utilising a strengths based, person centered, trauma aware, solutions focused approach
* Ability to practice to the standards of WA Youth Work Code of Ethics
