Your Opportunity
Our Treatment Plant Operators play a crucial role in protecting the environment and public health through our core treatment services across 26 Resource Recovery Centres. You will support the delivery of day-to-day operational outcomes at these centres, including safety, production, compliance with regulatory and environmental requirements, and financial performance.
* Support the operations team via routine allocated tasks to deliver reliable and efficient customer service activities of core wastewater treatment.
* Carry out simple inspection and cleaning tasks, following instructions and working under direct or indirect supervision to complete the allocated tasks.
* Follow mandatory procedures and methods of work to safeguard the environment and wellbeing of oneself and others.
* Provide operational support by performing routine activities using existing systems and protocols.
About You
We are seeking candidates who are passionate about shaping our future and have the following qualifications, skills, and experiences:
* A willingness and desire to learn, be curious, and build relationships with colleagues.
* Interpersonal communication skills, including liaising with technical and professional personnel.
* A foundational understanding of mechanical principles.
* A C class drivers' license.
