Temporary HR/Payroll Assistant

Pay Rate: up to £14.91 per hour PAYE depending on experience
Hours: 37 Monday – Friday, normal working hours
Duration: This opening assignment is for 4 months
City: KNOWSLEY
Working Environment: Hybrid working, with office presence during the week if preferred. Training will be provided in the office.
Role Overview: Join a fast-paced HR/Payroll team to support with a peak in workload and staff absence. Responsibilities include processing transactions across HR & Payroll, creating positions on the HR/Payroll system, completing transfers, producing variation to contract documents, and verifying pay accuracy. Additional processing work and mini projects may arise during restructures.
Key Responsibilities:
Follow established processes and use initiative to manage workload.
Be flexible to change and adapt quickly to varying circumstances.
Knowledge:
Sound knowledge of HR/Payroll processes and practices.
Experience:
Experience with a range of software packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail, and the internet.
Experience in document production and the collation and maintenance of information.
Skills & Abilities:
Excellent organisational skills to manage work and meet conflicting deadlines.
Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office packages.
Ability to maintain accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
Capacity to work flexibly to meet tight deadlines and multi-task.
