About the Role
This position is based on the Surgical Ward at Calvary St Luke's Private Hospital, including Orthopaedic, ENT and Day Ward. To be eligible for this role, you must have demonstrated recent clinical experience in an acute care and/or hospital setting.
The Enrolled Nurse works under the direction of the Registered Nurse and is responsible for providing safe, effective and appropriate patient care in a patient-focused environment within the Findlay surgical unit at Calvary St Luke's Hospital.
Key Responsibilities
* Participate in the delivery of a patient centred model of care within a safe environment.
* Perform the function of an Enrolled Nurse Medication Endorsed within scope of practice.
* Demonstrate competent and safe practice when administering medications including nursing duties.
Requirements
* AHPRA Registration with a current practising certificate.
* Demonstrated recent clinical experience in an acute care and/or hospital setting.
* Ability to work proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
* Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills.
