Your duties as a Technical Sales Specialist (Spatial omics) include but are not limited to the following:
1. Provide professional, technical solutions to customers in the spatial omics field to achieve and exceed sales targets;
2. Engage with potential and existing collaborators to discuss product offerings and tailor solutions to their specific needs;
3. Act as the primary point of contact for collaborators on spatial omics and related projects, ensuring timely responses and ongoing support;
4. Offer expert application support, including experiment design, data analysis, and troubleshooting, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction;
5. Collaborate with internal scientists to address customer-driven biological questions and ensure project success;
6. Manage and oversee customer projects, ensuring alignment with company regulations and timelines;
7. Conduct technical training and manage the technical transfer of new technologies from headquarters to regional teams;
8. Represent the company at major conferences and events, showcasing expertise and building market presence;
9. Prepare and deliver technical reports, presentations, and manuscripts detailing methodologies, findings, and results for internal and external stakeholders;
10. Gather and analyze market feedback to provide actionable insights to Product and R&D teams for continuous improvement.
The successful candidates for this position are able to demonstrate:
1. Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Genetics, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
2. 3 years+ work experience in technical sales, field application support, or a related role in NGS (Next-Generation Sequencing), molecular biology or proteomics.
3. Willingness to travel primarily within the assigned region. International travel, including to China, may be required for training or occasional special assignments.
4. Prior experience in customer support within a highly technical field preferred.
5. Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
6. Proven English written and verbal communication skills, with experience in training or presentations.
7. Experience working in an international company, preferably in biomedical instrumentation or technology.
