Location: Darwin (NT)Job category: Maintenance - StructuresJob type: Blue Collar - Full timeAbout this roleAircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) | Aircraft Maintenance Technician - StructuresDarwin, NTThe opportunityAirbus has an exciting opportunity for a Structures AME to join our team in Darwin (Robertson Barracks) in support of the ARH Tiger.The roleAs a Structures Aircraft Maintenance Engineer within the Airbus Maintenance Function, your skills, experience and knowledge will be utilised to undertake aviation maintenance activities to meet the needs of Airbus Australia Pacific (AAP) and their customers.Reporting to a member of the Maintenance Management Team, you are to execute maintenance within the bounds of the authority level delegated by the relevant Responsible Manager. Working within the AAP Maintenance Function, you are required to conduct maintenance in accordance with the relevant regulations, Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) (or equivalent) and all other maintenance procedures as laid out within authorised AAP procedures, relevant aircraft maintenance manuals and Defence documentation.This position reports to Team Lead Component Deeper Maintenance, through respective Aircraft Technical Leads, responsible for all ARH Structural maintenance activities undertaken by the Darwin Maintenance teams. Darwin Structure AME's are primarily responsible for performing ARH Deeper Maintenance activities while also conducting Off aircraft maintenance and supporting operational units in Industry specific tasks, such as advanced structure repairs, aircraft and component modifications.About youTo be successful in this role you will need to live the Airbus Values, work with passion and determination, able to work to tight deadlines in an environment of continuous improvement.
