Mechanical Reliability Engineer
Work on a 5/2, 4/3 FIFO roster based in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
About the Role:
* Contribute to a high-performing Fixed Plant Maintenance team by providing input and guidance.
* Participate in daily safety discussions to promote personal and team safety goals.
* Analyze reliability data to identify and implement improvements to enhance plant reliability.
* Lead root cause analysis investigations to eliminate defects.
* Manage wear material performance and optimization across various equipment.
* Coach and participate in high-value improvement projects.
* Oversee the lifecycle of equipment by ensuring effective strategies, including offsite repairs.
* Provide day-to-day support for maintenance execution on technical queries related to equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
Skills and Experience Required:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
* Proven experience in supporting small projects.
* Familiarity with SAP.
* Strong problem-solving skills with Reliability Engineering concepts and experience using tools like FMEA, RCA, or similar.
* Significant working experience in maintenance and/or reliability engineering in the Mining or Oil and Gas industry.
* Expertise in Work Management and Material Master Data Management, particularly in the SAP environment.
* A sound understanding of Australian Standards and WA Mines Regulations.
