This role suits someone in an Account Management role who is looking for a Sales Management opportunity.The key considerations for tis role are as follows: Client Relationship Management: The primary focus of the role is to manage, nurture and maintain strong relationships with a strong FMCG existing client base, serving as their primary point of contact.
Account Growth: Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts by understanding client needs and promoting the company's products and services.
Strategic Planning: Develop account plans, set objectives, and execute strategies to achieve business goals.
Reporting: Prepare regular reports on account status and performance metrics.
Once you have bedded down the initial role and client base, the role will then develop into a sales management role, managing a team of 5.
Lead and Motivate Sales Team – Recruit, train, and manage a team of Account Managers to drive performance and meet goals.
Build and Maintain Client Relationships – Develop strong relationships with key customers and partners to foster long-term business opportunities.
Analyse Sales Data and Market Trends – Monitor sales metrics, customer feedback, and market conditions to adjust strategies and improve results.
Collaborate Across Departments – Work closely with production, and customer service teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
YOU:The successful candidate will already be in a Packaging organisation, preferably one that has a label division, however we would consider candidates already in other forms of packaging.
You will have strong problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
You will already be in key account management, sales or sales management and we are looking for that person is who looking for something more.
You will be a leader and be able to motivate those around you.
