Collectively we make the impossible possible.About the OPPORTUNITYWe have an exciting opportunity for a RF Modelling Engineer to join our Maritime team based in Melbourne or Adelaide. You will be responsible for delivering E3 engineering outcomes on time, within budget, and to quality standards. You'll design and develop RF systems that meet customer needs, following company processes and best practices, either hands-on or by leading the work.Key responsibilities includeDefine RF and E3 system requirements and contribute to design and test planning through system-level reviewsDesign, optimise, and analyse RF/E3 system solutions, ensuring performance and compliance with requirementsTranslate designs into manufacturable products, considering cost, production, and support requirementsManage integration, testing, and full qualification of complex RF systems, solving design and validation challengesUse design and simulation tools to develop and validate high-quality solutions, including detailed analysis and test interpretationSupport engineering management through defect resolution, equipment changes, and continuous improvement activitiesEngage with internal and external stakeholders, acting as a technical interface and maintaining strong supplier relationshipsContribute to project planning and bids, including risk management, cost estimation, and delivery of work packagesAbout YOUProven experience in RF/E3 engineering within maritime/defence sectorExperience in design reviews, system integration, validation, and qualification testingExperience supporting delivery and through-life support of RF/E3 systemsExcellent communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to produce clear, concise technical documentationDefence security clearance or eligibility to obtainEligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulationsWe believe in hiring for potential; we know that some candidates hesitate if they don't tick all the boxes.
