Childcare & Outside School Hours Care (Education & Training)
Active Kids Early Learning Centre is seeking experienced Early Childhood Educational Lead and Lead Educators to join our dynamic team in Ipswich, Queensland. In this position, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational program and leading a team of educators to deliver exceptional care and learning experiences for the children in our centre.
What you'll be doing
* Develop, implement, and continuously improve the educational program, ensuring it aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
* Mentor, coach, and provide guidance to the teaching team to enhance their skills and professional development
* Foster positive relationships with children, families and the wider community
* Maintain accurate records, observations and assessments to support each child's learning and development
* Ensure the learning environment is safe, stimulating and conducive to children's growth
* Contribute to the overall operations and continuous improvement of the centre
What we're looking for
* Diploma or bachelor's degree in early childhood education
* Experience in an educational lead or senior educator role within the childcare sector
* Demonstrated ability to develop and implement high-quality educational programs
* Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a proven track record of developing and supporting teaching teams
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
* In-depth knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and relevant childcare regulations
* Passion for early childhood education and a deep commitment to promoting the well-being and learning of young children
