Pindara and Southport Private Hospitals are seeking a versatile, experienced and qualified Plumber to join our Property Services team on a permanent full-time basis.
The Role
The successful candidate will be required to work a rotating roster (6:00am – 4:30pm), 38hr weeks / 5 day weeks. You will also be required to take part in the hospitals’ on-call roster (on-call allowance).
The successful candidate will work closely with a supportive and respected team, and hold the following responsibilities:
* Plumbing repairs and maintenance of equipment and infrastructure throughout both facilities
* Liaise with hospital staff to understand repair requirements
* Ensure all assigned plumbing tasks are carried out as required
* Maintain a safe and effective work environment that complies with legislative standards, policy and guidelines
* Coordinate work with hospital staff
* Ensure all work carried out is within approved hospital budgets
* May be required to work at other Ramsay Hospitals on the Gold Coast
About You
Working autonomously and with a team of trades, your effective interpersonal and communication skills will assist you in providing exceptional customer service. Furthermore, your ability to plan, coordinate and priorities multiple tasks will see you succeed in this role.
Your Key Skills and Experience
* QLD Plumbing Trade Licence
* Previous experience in commercial facility maintenance, preferably hospitals
* Proven experience in external contractor management
* Possess or demonstrate an ability to obtain a sound knowledge of Australian Standards pertaining to plumbing installations and hospitals
* Current and unrestricted Drivers Licence
* Sound level of computer literacy
* TMV Certificate
* Gas Trade Certificate (desirable, though not essential)
* RPZ Certificate (desirable, though not essential)
Remuneration
Remuneration will be based on experience level and qualifications, plus superannuation and on-call allowances.

* Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
