Description This role offers the opportunity to shape financial reporting at the group level, ensuring precision and timeliness while collaborating closely with finance managers across business units. You’ll provide key insights to drive data-driven decision-making, leveraging advanced data models and tools in Excel and Power BI. By working cross-functionally, you'll deliver customized, impactful reporting solutions that empower business leaders to make informed decisions. This is a perfect role for someone with an analytical background with hands on experience working with finance teams build reports and present the holistic overview of the business with the insights. Key Responsibilities- Lead the Oceania group reporting function, ensuring the creation of insightful and accurate reports. Collaborate with local accounting and finance teams to gather necessary data while providing ongoing feedback and guidance on data integrity. Gain insights from and support regional data teams in understanding both financial and non-financial data sources. Integrate financial and non-financial data into a comprehensive reporting suite. Provide training and support to team members on advanced Excel and Power BI best practices. Assist the Corporate Finance Manager in business modeling as needed. Partner with finance managers and accountants to develop budget-related models when required. Conduct cost-benefit analysis for ad-hoc projects to assess viability. Participate in ERP system changes to maintain seamless reporting processes Qualifications, Skills, and Experience- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field CA or equivalent preferred but not required depending on finance experience Minimum 5 years of broad experience in accounting or financial management Understanding of accounting principles Advanced Excel skills, ideally including the usage of Power Query Foundational skills in data analytics, with coursework or experience in Python, SQL, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI Excellent communications skills, both written and oral Strong analytical ability Oracle Fusion reporting experience is advantageous but not required Logistics experience is advantageous but not required About DP World Trade is the lifeblood of the global economy, creating opportunities and improving the quality of life for people around the world.
