What you will bring to the role: Registration to practice as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board, Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) Demonstrated post qualification experience working as an Occupational Therapist providing clinical care in any of the following settings – Inpatient, Outpatients/Ambulatory Care, Community Health, Paediatrics, Mental Health, Drug & Alcohol Ability to work independently as an integral part of a multidisciplinary team and provide clinical direction when working with Allied Health Assistants Demonstrated skills in written and verbal communication with patients/clients/consumers, teams and agencies, with experience in clinical documentation and formal reporting Demonstrated ability to exercise independent professional judgement using skilled clinical reasoning and seek professional consult when performing novel, complex or critical tasks Demonstrated experience in the use of relevant evidence based practice to guide decision making Demonstrated high level of organisational skills, including ability to prioritise clinical activity Current Driver's Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel.
