$79,176 - $86,438 + 10% BDCP + up to 15.4% Superannuation Campbell Park - ACT The Role The Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) is the central security vetting agency for the Australian Government and plays a crucial role in safeguarding Australia's national interests and protecting sensitive information from potential threats.
The AGSVA Procurement and Contracting team is seeking two highly motivated APS 4 Contracting Officers to support with contracting and accounts payable and functions.
The duties of the role include, but not limited to: Reviewing and validating charges on invoices for respective contracts; Purchase order management; Vendor management; Provide administrative and secretariat support/document preparation; Assist with reporting activities on contractor performance; Management of group mailboxes and responding to email enquiries; Draft and maintain Work Instructions; Assist with administering risk control profiles; and Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
This role is eligible for an additional remuneration benefit known in Defence as a Building Defence Capability Payment (BDCP).
This enables Defence to provide a premium, in addition to the base salary otherwise payable under the Defence Enterprise Agreement (DEA), for positions in occupational disciplines/classifications that are critical to Defence capability.

The successful candidates will work as APS 4 Contracting Officer within the Vetting Appeals and Support Directorate, and will be part of the enabling function that supports AGSVA achieve its commitments to Government.
