About the role We are currently seeking a National Design Leader to join our Rail Operations Business Unit. With an exciting pipeline of major infrastructure projects, it's a fantastic opportunity to be part of a great team and culture. Key responsibilities Develop and Lead the design capability within Rail Operations Technical Function Lead the selection process for design consultants for Rail Operations bids and relevant projects across multiple sectors Collaborate with bid and project leaders to identify, assess, and manage design risks across all bids and projects, ensuring robust risk mitigation strategies are in place Oversee the design process for bids, including the formulation of design methodologies and the management of design and technical risks Provide continuous oversight and conduct regular design health checks on Rail Operations projects to ensure adherence to design standards and project objectives.
